The Agitators
The year was 2000, and something started happening in Belgium. That something was the formation of one of the best punk bands I've heard in a long time, the Agitators. Simply put, the purpose of this band was to make sing-a-long streetpunk. They sing about occurances in daily life like partying, football, misunderstandings, Herman Brood, etc. The Agitators don't want to change the world. They aren't rich college kids. These guys have been around the block, and it shows through their music. These lads have been churning out music in various local bands for the past 15 years, and now it's time that their music is finally heard! I put these guys right next to Oxymoron; melody and anger that packs a lot of punch. Their debut full-length Meeting the Lads is now available on Street Anthem Records, so be sure to pick one up and get addicted!
