Rock is not about fashion trends. Rock is not about how many times a band can make the cash register ring. Rock is not limited to jangling guitars and catchy tunes. Rock is not meant to be part of any established blueprint, period, regardless of what sardonic, wannabe mainstream music journalists may think.

Roc’n’roll is at its best when it exists outside of the mainstream.

The Lazerwolfs are Rock: Three great friends getting together in a converted garage, swilling beer, and writing songs that are delivered in a high octane, high volume fashion. Nothing more, and absolutely nothing less.

This band exists solely to create music we want to hear, and share that expression with people who love pure Rock. The quest is not to be hugely popular, or rich and famous… it’s to turn a riff into a good song, an idea into a meaningful lyric, and to make one note so rich in tone that it clutches at your soul and does not let go. We want to have a tailgate party outside before the show, then move it inside where it will get a whole lot louder.

The Lazerwolfs are not about using studio wizardry to make records that sound nothing like the band sounds live just to make you think the band is something it isn’t. If the notion of listening to one guitar, one bass, a set of drums, and a couple voices doesn’t appeal to you sitting on your couch with headphones on, then it will likely not appeal to you in a live environment either. What you hear on the record is what you will hear live: Solid, old school Rock with a few twists. Modern Vintage Roc’n’Roll.
