You'll undergo a shot of pure rock n roll adrenaline. Darling Articles are rock and roll soul.
In 1999, the core of Darling Articles was born, a minimalist punk rock band. Since then, various members and band names have come and gone. In addition, the band have played hundreds of shows and got serious about their music. By 2003, the band had grown into something entirely different, yet exciting. To correspond with the new direction, the new name (Darling Articles) was adopted and a new record (The Initial Reaction) was released.
Darling Articles play over a hundred shows a year. They have shared the stage with national known acts such as Student Rick, Punchline, The Stivs, The Kick, The Pits, The Evan Anthem, Further Seems Forever, MXPX, Squad Five-O, Sidewalk Slam, the Blamed, Element 101, Watashi Wa, The Apprentice, ex-best friend, Bleach, and Underoath.
The band looks to continue the momentum by playing a much as possible throughout the year. In May 2003, they self-released The Initial Reaction EP on drummer Mike Billups' Radio Eat Radio Dot Com imprint. Recorded and produced by Russ Fox and Matt Gingrich at Broadmoor Recording Studio (Bleach, Matthew, Evan Anthem), the EP showcases the band's best work. Look for more big things to come from these rock n rollers.
